Standard-compliant switching with Kraus & Naimer mains changeover switches
As part of a standardised emergency power supply, you can rely on emergency power changeover switches from Kraus & Naimer. These comply with the internationally applicable IEC 60947-6-1 and IEC 60947-3 standards for low-voltage switching devices.
Emergency power supply
To integrate an emergency power supply, a genset is always required that is switched with an “emergency power changeover switch” or MTSE (Manual Transfer Switch Equipment).
If the grid is overloaded, whether due to weather phenomena such as extreme snowfall and storms or excessive energy demand on the grid, the power supply may fail. In this case, an adequately coordinated emergency power supply for the home or business offers an additional option for bridging the outage for a certain period of time.
