Spectra presents the new 12-port managed switch IGS-4215 8T4X, which enables the creation of sophisticated and fast industrial networks. It is equipped with a total of 12 Ethernet ports. Eight LAN ports support speeds of up to 1 Gbit/s and four SFP ports enable the implementation of particularly interference-resistant fibre optic connections with speeds of up to 10 Gbit/s. Singlemode or multimode mode can be selected with the appropriate SFP transceiver modules.
Current redundancy protocols with functions such as Rapid Spanning Tree Protocol (RSTP) and Multiple Spanning Tree Protocol (MSTP) ensure high network stability and guarantee the availability of critical connections. In addition, the extensive management functions enable precise prioritisation of data streams and therefore perfect control over the network. All necessary settings are made using an intuitive, web-based user interface.
The extended operating temperature range of -40°C to +75°C and the robust metal housing, which offers IP30 protection, ensure reliable performance in harsh industrial environments.
