Spring-loaded contacts, often called pogo pins, have been used in the testing industry for many years. However, with the increasing interest in quick releases, they have found a new life.

EDAC’s new range of magnetic pogo connectors are specifically designed for quick connect applications. The range includes two alternative arrangements. The round design offers 2, 3 and 4 pin options arranged in a coaxial configuration. Attachment is done by strong magnets that maintain strong positive contact but still allow for quick release if necessary. They can also be quickly reconnected.
